Build and validate a compact ESP32-based cyber hardware workflow while documenting the practical constraints that shape a larger all-in-one handheld concept.

What this proves

• Hardware troubleshooting under imperfect conditions.
• Firmware flashing, validation, and failure documentation.
• Feature mapping between a real device and a larger design concept.
• Ability to convert experiments into clear engineering requirements.

Current role in the portfolio

The ESP32/HaleHound work is the public, provable hardware project. The larger handheld remains a concept track until the build reaches the same level of evidence.

Design signal

Good hardware security work is not just owning a device. It is testing the device, documenting what breaks, understanding the limits, and using those limits to design better tools.
